SMART PHOTOGRAPHY – BOOKING & SERVICE POLICY
Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit equal to 30% of the total session fee is required at the time of booking to reserve your selected date and time.
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to cancellation, rescheduling outside of permitted timeframes, weather concerns initiated by the client, scheduling conflicts, illness, or change of mind.
A booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been successfully received.
Remaining Balance
The remaining balance is due no later than 7 calendar days prior to the scheduled session date.
Failure to remit the remaining balance by the due date may result in cancellation of the session at the discretion of Smart Photography. In such cases, the deposit will be retained.
All payments made toward services are non-refundable once the session has been completed and services have been rendered.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
Clients may request to reschedule once with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to availability. Approval of rescheduling is at the sole discretion of Smart Photography.
Deposits remain non-refundable regardless of rescheduling.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the session, same-day cancellations, or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Weather Policy
In the event of unsafe or severe weather conditions, Smart Photography reserves the right to reschedule the session to ensure safety and quality. Weather-related decisions are made at the sole discretion of Smart Photography.
If a client chooses to cancel due to weather when conditions are deemed suitable, the deposit remains non-refundable.
Editing & Final Images
Final edited images are delivered in accordance with the creative style and artistic discretion of Smart Photography.
All final edits are considered complete and final upon delivery. Additional re-editing requests may be subject to additional fees.
RAW or unedited files are not provided.
Copyright & Usage
Smart Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images created.
Clients are granted a non-transferable personal-use license for printing and sharing images. Commercial use requires written consent.
Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event that Smart Photography is unable to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to illness, emergency, or equipment failure), liability shall be limited to a refund of any payments received.
Smart Photography is not responsible for circumstances beyond its control that may impact session conditions, including weather, location restrictions, or third-party interference.
Agreement
By booking a session, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this policy.
